Regional College of Pharmacy is established by "Deepshikha Kala Sansthan", which is a pioneer in technical education since 1976.

B.PHARM

Course Approved by  :   All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE),Minstry of HRD,Govt. of IndiaDegree Awarded by :   Rajasthan University of Health Sciences
Duration :   4 Years
Admission criteria : :   Admission will be made as per the eligibility & reservation criteria,notified by  RCA-Pharmacy system. As per present system there are two categories :
1. RCA-Pharmacy Seats: 85%
2. Management Seats: 15%

 
Aims of the course :
At Pharmacist studies the chemistry of drugs, their origin & manufacture, their preparation, their effects and ultimate use for the prevention and cure of disease in human beings. Pharmacists are in a charge of dispensing and supervising the dispensation of prescriptions in a community pharmacy or a hospital pharmacy. They ensure the safe and correct storage of a variety of medicines and certain chemical substances, and keep records. They may also be into the buying and selling of drugs, cosmetics toiletries, monitoring drug regimens, evaluating drug use patterns in hospitals and training staff in charge of shop/store counters. In hospitals, Pharmacists are in touch with the drug charts of patients to guard against adverse reactions when a patient has been put on several different kinds of drugs. They also act as consultants to health practitioners and the public, advising on adverse drug reactions and inters actions and medical supplies and durable healthcare equipment. . B.Pharm is the study of the interactions of chemical compounds with living systems and focuses on drugs and their effects on molecular, biochemical and physiological processes, particularly in humans. This course show you how a molecules act on receptors to produce particular effects, informs you of how to analyze pharmacological and screening and biomedical laboratory analyses.
 
Elligibility :
Pass in the final examination of 10+2 or any other examination recognized equivalent there to by Rajasthan university of health sciences, for B. Pharm. Compulsory Subjects are Physics and Chemistry & any one of the optional subject Maths, Bio Technology, Computer Science & Biology. Minimum 45% marks in physics, chemistry & Biology/ Maths/ Bio-Tech/ Computer Sci. in 10+2 or an equivalent.
 
Career Opportunities  :
Career option in pharmacy is represented by the pharmaceutical industry which produces chemicals, prescription and on prescription drugs, and other health products. Pharmacists do such things as marketing, research and product development, quality control, sales, and administration. These representatives call on a variety of health care professionals to explain the uses and merits of the products their firms produce. Experienced and successful medical service representatives with administrative abilities often rise to supervisory or executive posts in the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmacists are also employed as sales representatives, supervisors, and administrators in wholesale drug firms.
 

D.PHARM

The course will focus on the profession and practice of pharmacy and will draw on the key aspects on the clinical, physical and social sciences. Our aim is to produce the forward thinking, modern pharmacist of the future. The Diploma in Pharmacy is designed to offer opportunities for advanced study in drug discovery technologies, therapeutics and process development, pharmaceutical analysis and quality assurance. The Diploma is suitable for people who want to work in industrial and research centre wishing to develop their knowledge in the design and synthesis of drugs and address the pharmacy issues that arise. The course is also suitable for the person want to work in hospitals, pharmacies and clinics as the course will also focus on drug analysis.
